Based 90 mins north of Sydney on Australia's Central Coast, Kacey recently signed with Los Angeles Talent Management Avatar with a first look feature film deal at Sony Pictures Int after the remarkable worldwide success of his March 2020 viral comedy short film, Stay Home Stay Safe.

Kacey's recent short, Stay Home Stay Safe, accumulated over 2 million views in two weeks across social platforms with positive feedback from The New York Times writers through to directors of Netflix. In early August 2020 Kacey turned down the opportunity to direct a Netflix Original feature film to remain committed to achieving his writer/debut with Sony Pictures.
